Royce Brook Golf Club
A golf-only, 36-hole premium daily-fee facility located on a former farmland in central New Jersey, less than an hour drive from New York City. These 36-hole daily-fee golf courses are uniquely designed, each showcasing their own style. While each course features the strategic integrity inherent to a Steve Smyers design, the West Course contains the dramatic and dangerous bunker stylings popularized by Dr. Alister Mackenzie, and the East Course presents a more refined, yet no less demanding, style employed by Donald Ross. Royce Brook opened for play in May 1998. The metropolitan area's top amateur and professional events are held here, including the 2003 Eastern Club Pro Championship. In 2002, the West Course was rated # 4 and the East Course # 9 in New Jersey by GolfWeek's America's Best Courses.
